My name is Thomas Bowen. I am a Born and Raised resident of the Las Vegas Valley and I care greatly about our community. My father was a school teacher at Bonanza HS. There he taught me the meaning of working with special needs children and what they can accomplish if they are given someone that believes in them. That message still rings true to me today.
I served in the US Navy from 2001-2006 and achieved the rank of E5. My duties included 2 tours to Iraq and Afghanistan during OEF and OIF. I also served in the Humanitarian Relief efforts for the Tsunami of Indonesia in 2005.
I am a 2012 graduate of the College of Southern Nevada, Occupational Therapy Assistant program and hold a national certification as a Occupational Therapy assistant. I have been working in the fields of pediatric outpatient, school education, and home health rehabilitation since. I have a true passion for helping children achieve greatness higher then anyone would believe they can.
I am a proud member of the Presidential club in the Las Vegas Chamber of Commerce.
